Is Tiger King Worth Watching?
Tiger King is the epitome of when fact is stranger than fiction. The main subject of Tiger King, Joe “Exotic”, is so absurd it is hard to believe he is real. Tiger King focuses on the history of Joe “Exotic”, a polygamous gay gun-toting Oklahoman who ran an exotic animal park, and his battle with another exotic animal park owner. Throughout the series, the show also highlights other exotic animal owners and sheds a bit of light onto how those parks are really run. While this premise may sound relatively tame, within the 7 episodes of Tiger King, it is strongly implied that one of the subjects murdered her husband and fed him to a tiger; a subject runs a presidential and gubernatorial campaign; one of the subjects runs a harem of workers at his park; a subject coerces two straight men to marrying him for meth; someone commits suicide; someone has their arm eaten by a tiger; and a subject hires a hit man to kill his rival. This series truly is insane, and will provide you will a few hours of binge-able entertainment.
