Is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Worth Playing?

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is my game of the year. The story follows the journey of a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 five years prior. Once he is outed as a Jedi he goes on a journey with a rag tag crew to restore the Jedi Order. The game itself draws inspiration from the set pieces and moving mechanics of the Uncharted series and the gameplay mechanics and level design of the Soulsbourne games. The utilization of light sabers and force abilities make the combat in this game extremely satisfying. I appreciated that this game does not make you feel overpowered. When you start out you definitely feel like a Jedi Padawan and most enemies pose a challenge. Once you become a Jedi Knight by the end of the game, you will see what a true master of the force looks like. However, this game is not flawless. First, it is unpolished with assets and textures occasionally loading in which can cause freezing. Second, there is a sliding traversal mechanic that can be frustrating. Regardless, the controls, combat, exploration, and the story outweigh any of those minor inconveniences, and I wholeheartedly recommend this game.
